BTC Members image The Broome Turf Club Committee and Management welcome your membership for 2012. Once again we intend to present a combination of competitive horse racing and enjoyable entertainment for all participants.

PLEASE NOTE: Membership Applications for 2012 will be accepted from April 1st 2012.

The cost of a full season’s membership for 2012 is $190 (Inc of GST).

Your Membership includes:

Free entry to all seven regular race meets (individually priced at $30) PLUS Free entry to Ladies Day (valued at $90) and Broome Cup Day ($100 per person). The total value of a full seasons membership is $360.

Access to exclusive trackside members only areas and Members only grandstand which boasts 360 degree views of the track and the surrounding turquoise beaches of Broome.

Closer proximity to the finishing post, bars and tote windows.

Extra seating and a variety of entertainment.

Club voting rights and the opportunity for committee nomination.

Membership for 2012 will be available from April 1st.

2012 Broome Turf Club Membership Terms and Conditions

Personal Information

The Broome Turf Club collects personal information about you when you submit your membership application form. The club will use that information to asses your application. The club may disclose your personal information to your employers (past, present or perspective) and other racing bodies. You do not have to supply the information requested in this application, but if the information (or any part of it) is not provided, your application may be rejected. In most cases, you can gain access to and request that corrections be made to personal information held by the Club. By completing and submitting this application you authorize the club to collect, use and disclose personal information about you for the purposes described in this notice.

Membership Entry

All Members must identify themselves by displaying the current year’s membership badge in order to enter membership areas and gain free access at the main gate. All members have access to the exclusive trackside member’s area and members only grandstand.

Day Membership

Day Membership is available at a cost of Thirty dollars (inc $10 gate fee) and may be purchased at any of the seven race meets. Ladies Day 'Day Memberships' are available to purchase for $90 dollars (inc $20 gate fee) Broome Cup Day 'Day Membership is available for $100 (inc $20 gate fee). Day Membership entitles patrons to access all member's only areas on the day of purchase with exception of the upper level 'Member's Deck' on Ladies and Cup Days. Gate admission is free to Ladies on Ladies Day.

Trading Hours

The club gates are open to the public from 10.30am. In respect to requests from the Liquor and Gaming Department, evening trading hours have been reduced with all bars closing at 8.30pm on regular race meetings with some extensions on feature days. No alcohol is to be brought on nor taken off course. Patrons who are adversely affected by alcohol will be refused service and escorted from the premises. Two-Up is an alcohol free area running between the hours of 6pm-8pm.

Minors on Course

Persons under the age of 18 will not be permitted on course unless accompanied by a parent or suitable guardian. The entire racecourse is a licensed area and whilst some tolerance will be allowed to children during daylight hours, parents must be within eyesight and watchful at all times. All children must be with their parents after sunset. Please note that the Broome Turf Club strongly discourages minors and children on course during Ladies Day and Cup Day. For the safety of your children security personnel will not tolerate minors being left unattended at any time. Only children under the age of two years old will be admitted free on these feature days, all others will be charged full admittance price and they will not be allowed entry into the member’s area.
