The eleven week racing season culminates in the highly anticipated Broome Cup Week.

Ladies Day

Be a part of one of the highlights of Broome’s social calendar and join the sea of colourful dresses on Ladies Day. The Broome Turf Club comes alive with exciting racing and a bevy of entertainment.

The 2011 Autore Ladies Day Fashions on the Field was proudly sponsored by Autore and Willie Creek Pearls. Judges from Autore selected contestants throughout the day on Tuesday 9^thAugust 2011, first prize was a beautiful Autore South Sea Pearl Pendant to the value of $3000. The Broome Turf Club wishes to thank Autore for their generous sponsorship.

Broome Cup Day

Saturday 18th August 2012

Saturday the 18th is the final and most spectacular event on the 2012 Racing calendar. Broome Cup Day brings together the local community and visitors who will travel far and wide to be involved in the biggest social event of the year. The 2200m Broome Cup Race brings horses, trainers and jockeys to Broome all vying for the $100,000 prize.

Fever pitched excitement precedes each race throughout the day, with punters being entertained by live music, local performers and fashion on the field finals. The post race party extends into the evening with Two-Up a drawcard for many race goers. Be sure not to miss this unique racing experience.

The 2011 Linneys Fashion on the Field, held in the Members Pavillion on Broome Cup Day, was the ultimate fashion prize for the ladies. Sponsored each year by Linneys of Broome, judges scouted entrants from 1pm to 2.40pm near the entrance to the Members Pavillion on Saturday 13th August 2011. The winner received a beautiful Linneys Australian South Sea Pearl pendant set with a Pink Argyle Daimond and a White Diamond to the value of $3500. The Broome Turf Club wishes to thank Linneys for their generous sponsorship of these fabulous event.
